A bunch of junk - ABS

Don't even think about buying this, started sending codes (light on) after a week or so, then more often, then all the time. A1 Cardone will deny any knowledge that this is their problem. 4 months failed. Regarding the warranty, I have not yet received a response from Revain. I repeat. pile of garbage!

Pros
  • Automotive
Cons
  • Expensive

Antilock Brake Module was "Reconditioned", obviously not a good job because it failed almost immediately. I contacted their support team for a replacement but they refused. They said I had to work with Revain. The problem is that the car has to be in the parking lot for a week if I exchange it.

Pros
  • Spare Parts
Cons
  • Modernity

Tried to fix the old module, didn't help

I tried to fix the old module, took it apart and it was really in bad shape. Soldered connections, obviously loose and broken, reinstalled on the machine did not help. If your old module is in relatively good condition, it may help to re-solder the broken connections on the board. My module was too far out so that was my only option and thanks to Revain who had this thing at a really good price I bought it, installed it and from the very first time I had my speedo running, those dreaded ABS…

Pros
  • ABS
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging
