It's a waste of money

Those clamps suck! The swivel is so loose that it will bend in opposite directions even with 1/4" tubing. Glad I bought another brand. Works very well

Pros
  • An absolute legend
Cons
  • Something different

Sturdy construction best matches cooler

Good for pinching hoses. Make sure the center line of the handle is aligned with the center line of the hose diameter. I managed to pinch something and only released droplets of various liquids. The rugged construction is far superior to plastic wire cutters, which break under pressure to pinch thick-walled silicone tubing.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • unreliable

Poor quality fit for spares

They look like a great product and are great value for money but are very difficult to adjust and lock. They also don't come off very easily. The largest bends under pressure. I've bought several from Harbor Freight and they work great. I haven't found them in any other store. I missed the return deadline or I would have sent it back!

Pros
  • cool product
Cons
  • cable is shorter than other picks

Ideal for saving coolant on repairs

A must when repairing a cooling system to stop coolant loss. Initially I had cheap plastic parts that you can buy at any tool store and I had constant problems with them chipping and just not blocking the coolant flow. I bought these metal models and I regret not having done so sooner. Works great, no coolant flows after installation and does not damage the hoses. Buy them if you are a mechanic

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Could have chosen a newer model

A good product. for hoses

I was blown away by the price and how well they work. When I buy an instrument, I usually get a well-made instrument from a good brand. In terms of build quality they are on par or slightly higher than Port Freight but the price compared to 3 sizes is fair I think. In a factory setting I'm not sure how long they will last, but for your personal projects and occasional use they will do. I installed a coolant filter on my lml duramax and used it to pinch off the hoses so I didn't have to drain…

Disappointing dimensions and poor quality

As others have said, the difference between the three pliers is negligible (other than the length); So buying three didn't help much as I'll probably never use one if not two of them. However, the design seems quite elaborate, so that's a plus. Update - after trying all three pliers on a hose less than an inch in diameter, none of them could pinch it and the pinching parts turned away. uneven contact with the hose. These will definitely come back. Pure garbage. Worst of all, I've started the…

It always pays to get the right tools!

As many DIY Prius owners have experienced, replacing the inverter cooling pump is a fairly common and repetitive maintenance item. I usually just put a pan and collected the coolant that spilled when the pump was removed. I decided to try these. no matter. I typically had to replace about a half gallon of coolant after bleeding the system. With these I had to replace about a glass - the amount that filled the hoses after the clamps and the pump itself. Best of all, there is no need to bleed the
