Robust Accuride 1029 Center Mount Slide: Ideal Industrial Hardware Solution Review

Bottom mounting slides work as intended. Installation is a little more complicated than the side rails, but not difficult. Not a full extension, but not advertised as such.

I originally ordered the 17" version but found it to be too long. 15 inches was just what I needed. Runs much smoother than the original metal track and rail.

I bought a used chest but all the rails were broken. I measured and found these. They were the same brand/style as originally on the chest so replacing them was easy.

This part was ordered to replace a damaged rail in a men's dresser. Since the only damaged part was the detachable part of the bolt, there was no need to replace the entire assembly. The drawer works perfectly and does not fall off the rails when fully extended.

Just bought a 50 year old house with an original kitchen. Many boxes stick out. or fall out. or preferably both in quick succession! I carefully disassembled and examined the existing 17" center rails and then found an almost exact match. Durable quality, smooth operation and very easy to fit into an existing drawer cavity. Well packaged and shipped quickly - couldn't be happier.

I had an unusual use for a drawer. It was heavy so I decided to use 2 of these to support the weight. Mistake! I finally made full size rails for the ends of the box to ride on and then the slide worked fine. You just have to remember that the drawer only extends 2/3 of the drawer depth. They were hard to find...not available in big stores. Not well advertised but when I stumbled across it I was ready. I'm sure AccuRide makes a wide range of lengths and wish Revain had more choices.

50 year old kitchen drawers present unique problems and I have never installed the drawer slides so it took more than one try before the first drawer got it all aligned and aligned. The price of this item really depends on your setup. The slide is pretty good, pretty well done, and the instructions are excellent - very detailed, easy to read, and pretty clear with just enough attention, even if you don't make a living from it. I got it right the first time. However, replacing an existing damaged slide is a hassle if you can't get in from the back.
