If you have a manual transmission Honda Accord, this is your oil.

A few months ago I bought a 2006 Accord V6 with manual transmission and 185,000 miles. I had frequent transmission slip/slip when shifting into third gear. This seems to be a common problem with this six speed gearbox and Honda's TSB requires third gear replacement which is an estimated 10 hours of work. Fuck it all. I threw away everything that was there and replaced that material with AC Delco. Three months later he didn't get stuck or slip when shifting into third, while before that it hadโ€ฆ

Simply the best for Acura/Honda owners.

I use this fluid for about 40,000 miles in my daily Integra. I've changed it three times so far. I would estimate this fluid to last around 15,000-20,000 miles depending on use. After that, it darkens, loses viscosity (wateriness) and magical abilities to eliminate sharp overflows. But man, with a fresh switch I can practically switch with one finger. At $30 every 15,000 miles, it's worth it. Before I used Honda mtf (old formula) it was practically useless. Then I started using this and noticed

Acura CU2 Tsx 6MT 2qts only!

I've been using Redline MTL for my acura tsx for years and it works great. Now it's time to drain and fill again. I bought 2qts and that should be enough. The manual for the car says 2.1 litres, but that's all a marketing ploy. They want us to buy 3 bottles from the dealer. Revain has a lower price. From what I understand the Redline MTL is fully synthetic and this GM synchro is semi-synthetic. 2 liters is enough and remember to pour/pump slowly otherwise the liquid will run back out of theโ€ฆ

Holy Kwisatz Haderach!

It's liquid my friends! This is a modified Haderach friction kit for your Honda gearbox! After briefly using Royal Purple Synchronizer (which quickly turned out to be the wrong oil for my Honda manual transmission), I immediately installed Royal Purple HPS 5w-30 in my manual transmission. I've been using this motor oil in my Honda transmission for almost a year and although the shifts were good, once the transmission had warmed up I was having trouble shifting into first gear when stopped andโ€ฆ

Changing the transmission oil on this car is very easy

2008 TL Type S 6MT I read the AZ reviews and was a bit skeptical about this MTF. Many people use it to make shifting smoother and reduce the 3rd gear problem with rougher shifting. Changing the transmission oil on this car is very easy. Once the new fluid was in place and everything was zipped up, I spent some time changing gears before flipping the car. Then I went for a walk and tried to drive a few miles before returning my wife's car. I told her I had changed the transmission oil (30,000โ€ฆ

Saved my transmission

I drive a 2006 Acura TL with a manual transmission. Third gear synchronizers in this car have long been out of service. Basically, in this car, you have to match the RPM of your third gear, otherwise the transmission just won't engage third gear. It will just fly right out of the gate. This is a well-known and common design flaw in this car's manual transmission. I changed my circuitry to avoid this problem for a while, but over time it became more and more of a problem. difference in theโ€ฆ

Helps 2nd Gen TSX Crunch in 2nd Gear

Works much better than the Honda MTF which consistently crunches 2nd gear 9 times out of 10. Shifting gears when starting the car is also smoother. Only twice the price of a Honda MTF, and at 15km intervals it really isn't that much more expensive in the long run. Overall, this fluid helps the transmission engage and disengage much better than it does on a Honda MTF. If your gearing is grinding or squeaking, I highly recommend trying Synchromesh Friction Modified before switching to Royalโ€ฆ

Another happy Honda driver

Used in Accord Sport 2015 with manual 6-speed gearbox, drove about 40,000 km, mainly on the highway. I have already replaced the MTF with a Honda MTF once at about 20,000 miles. My problem isn't 3rd gear like most people with Honda/Acura transmissions (except when it's really cold) but 2nd gear synchro when downshifting e.g. B. in curves. The new Honda MTF (it has a green label on it) helped a lot on a 20k run, but over time it started to grind again at times. For the fluid change I mixed aโ€ฆ

2000 VW Jetta TDI 02j Clear Sorcery

2000 VW Jetta TDI GLS 02J Trans 157,000 miles (Pretty sure a factory fill or maybe a swap during previous ownership) Excellent fluid actually thicker than the VW 75W- 90- Version. The G070 (the latest version of the VW MTF) has a cSt of around 6.4 and this stuff is around 9.0. Honda and Acura owners swear by this stuff, and most TDICLUB members agree on how good it is. The price of Revain is unbeatable for me. $27 a quart at a GM dealership? No thank you. I actually used the G070 for a whileโ€ฆ
