Excellent Power Window Fits Parts

Installed on a 1995 gmc g2500 van driver's door window. You don't need to remove the power window or tension spring to install it. You need to maneuver the motor to the regulator, it's troublesome, because there's no room for the mushroom, it's possible. The tension spring does not have to be removed for my application. As for the performance of the motor, it revs up and down with no unusual noise and I think it's too fast.

Pros
  • Good Thing
Cons
  • Vulgarity

So far so good, the best power window motors

Works as it should. It seems rather weak as it's a bit annoying to roll up the window. The window moves freely along the track without any hardware attached, so the window is not the cause. Time will tell I guess. I ordered an entire (cheap) window assembly off eBay last November. The hardware was great, but this engine sucked from the start. So I bought this motor to replace it. Overall I am satisfied with this purchase. If he dies within a year I will edit this review.

Pros
  • Perfect for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Clarity

The best solution for money!

I am testing this OEM and aftermarket Dorman motor in my 1994 GMC van. So far, the Delco motor is quieter and more powerful than the Dorman, which lowers the window quickly but raises it more slowly. This Delco motor is very affordable and seems to outperform it in quality. The mounting bracket is not threaded for mounting screws, however these screws are self-tapping. If you want to mount the motor in a tight space, I recommend using pre-threaded screws before actual installation.

  • Price
Cons
  • Expensive

Buy Professional instead of standard window regulator

Raises and lowers the window faster than a standard window regulator. Pay the difference and get a professional model instead of a standard model - the price difference is not that big and you get more durability and reliability. Install U-Tube and watch some videos as it will make installation MUCH easier. It is best to connect the power supply to the motor before screwing it to the door - this way the power window switch can be used to align the motor with the door (once attached to the power

EXACT REPLACEMENT on power windows and motors

This is the first time I have replaced a similar item in a car. I figured for a 2003 Chevy I'd go for the item price. I have to be honest, if you don't have the patience or the tools to do the job, don't try. This isn't brain surgery, but the initial installation is done with rivets that need to be drilled out, and the area to be machined is extremely tight. I did the driver's side first and it wasn't that bad. Estimated time to complete the job is just over two hours. It took me almost 4 hours

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Updates

Walked in as easily as you would expect for a job like this

Arrived on time, walked in as easily as you would expect for a job like this. Works great a month after installation. The hardest part was removing the old regulator (the window was sealed). Overload was bad. Note: A small hole behind the motor (below the removable cup) allows current to flow to the motor without overloading. Nobody will tell you that. I had to figure it out myself (after disassembling the old motor). Tip: Insert a probe and reverse polarity as needed to drive the motor up or…

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • flimsy

The installation is not for beginners, it works fine the first time.

I previously replaced the driver's windshield on a 2005 Cavalier. The bracket that came with it is not used for the front door so I threw it away. To install this build, first watch a YouTube video to see if your skills are good enough. My installation started with masking off the window and removing the door panel. Remove the window regulator assembly from the door and place it on a bench. I then replaced the motor assembly on the controller and moved the bracket from the old motor assembly to

Pros
  • Great construction
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging
