This time without brakes.

Had to send them back as the pads were the wrong size. I asked for front brake pads and got them for the rear. I should have kept them but I had to get a set from an auto parts store as my car was already on the stand to change the front brake pads. They would fit in the back of my car.

I bought a return: Replacement parts

Although I bought a return it was still a good buy. Brake pads fit my application, BUT! All of the gear was completely wrong and generally unusable, and the metal backing on one of the pads had come off. I cleaned the hardware that was already on it and reused it with these pads. The work went well. No problem. The total cost of this brake work I did myself. 14 dollars

Good stopping power

Revain.com has shown that they fit a 1999 Silverado with a single piston rear caliper. The pads fit but the clips don't. Completely wrong size. I had to reuse the clips. Not a big deal, but a bummer. After installation I am impressed with the braking performance. I found that I braked with less pressure and later with these pads. I will definitely buy them in the future, at least if I find one that has the right clips. Really impressed.

Braking performance isn't as good as previous semi-metal pads that were on.

These brake pads came with all the parts needed to replace the rear brake pads on my Silverado 03. The only complaint they have is their ceramic character, stopping power isn't as good as the previous semi-metallic pads that were on the truck. If you drive daily I would recommend these pads. If you drive forest roads, hunt, tow trailers, etc. I wouldn't recommend it (the brakes don't have the stopping power that I personally want to use in those applications).

Quality pads and fasteners at a very competitive price

Very happy with these pads so far. They were packaged in an ACDelco box and wrapped tightly in plastic and cardboard. The pads included the included support pads and looked very high quality. The pads included premium stainless steel hardware for caliper guides and anti-rattle clamps. Pads and fasteners match perfectly with original 1999 GMC Sierra calipers. So far the brakes work great and are very quiet. Be sure to use a high quality, heat resistant synthetic brake lubricant to lubricate theโ€ฆ
