Fits and works great

Product package as expected. I painted them black since the metal is not coated. I would recommend this on non-braking surfaces.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Compatibility

Fits great! for drums

Fit my 06 Forester well and they seem to be of pretty good quality. I recommend putting on an anti-seize when installing in case you need to remove it in the future and it doesn't have threaded holes to help with removal.

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • Upgrades available

So far so good - brake system

Fits my Subaru Forester but I was disappointed that these brake drums do not have threaded holes through which nuts can be screwed to loosen the drum, if necessary tighten them remove. I lubricated the hub with anti-seize to keep it from binding.

Pros
  • Nicely packaged
Cons
  • Almost OK

For 2001 Forester L

For 2001 Forester L. Purchased to replace old rusty factory drums on my 2001 Forester with 115,000 miles. The only thing I don't like about the drums is that they don't have screw holes to remove a drum that's stuck on a rusted hub. I took the time to paint the new drums prior to installation. So if they last another 15 years or 115,000 miles they should be fine.

Pros
  • Highly rated by testers for support and durability
Cons
  • No performance

Bought a kit to replace the rear drums.

Bought a kit to replace the rear drums on the station wagon Impreza 02. Fits well, I go with them for 4 months, no problems. The only minor thing people might want to know is that these drums don't have two threaded holes to remove the drum if it freezes. My suggestion would be to apply some anti-seize to the flat inner surface where the bushing meets the drum to prevent seizing.

Pros
  • Sea of positive emotions
Cons
  • Modernity
