ACDelco 18K1971X Professional Caliper Hardware Review

I have brand new calipers, rotors, pads and fasteners. Pins did not fit when installed. After a day of riding, the pins started coming out causing my pads to rub on the rotors. Bought some new gear from the dealer and they went in as usual. I do not recommend this product.

The springs are good but I wouldn't trust them to hold the pins. It is better to put the pins in the drill and rotate them to polish. Reuse original equipment. 3 of my four pens don't have the slightest grip. One of them had bent a small snap ring. I will not use the pens, they are still in the box. I would like to send them to AC Delco and have them processed.

02/11/2019 Initial verification is based solely on the fact that they have not yet been installed. My full review will come later. I ordered what was in the picture: black details. What was sent to me was all metal/chrome, I would return them in a heartbeat for the black oxide versions. As far as I know, these parts otherwise work almost perfectly. Stay tuned for updates by installing them on a 2005 Subaru Legacy GT with ATS calipers and brackets. Now downgraded to 1 star for build quality…
