Review on ACDelco 18K1971X Professional Caliper Hardware by Ben Swett

02/11/2019 Initial verification is based solely on the fact that they have not yet been installed. My full review will come later. I ordered what was in the picture: black details. What was sent to me was all metal/chrome, I would return them in a heartbeat for the black oxide versions. As far as I know, these parts otherwise work almost perfectly. Stay tuned for updates by installing them on a 2005 Subaru Legacy GT with ATS calipers and brackets. Now downgraded to 1 star for build quality. Installation was easy and I literally followed the OEM process. Used a hammer and punch and pounded them down until they fit. Now I have to go back a fourth time and drive them back in. This is a VERY UNSAFE PRODUCT. Since the calipers I bought are made by ACDelco, as well as these pins, you would think they would work even BETTER together. But I do not think so. It has now become dangerous to drive my car for fear of those pins falling out in an emergency braking situation. I am a very dissatisfied customer and would like a refund or replace the pens with a FULLY FUNCTIONAL set. I'll write to the supplier right away.
