Perfect replacement OEM

This is a standard OEM replacement. It fits perfectly and works as expected. Replacing it fixed the issue where the starter would not engage when I turned the key. Installation is tricky but there is a good video on YouTube showing how to do it.

Pros
  • replacement parts
Cons
  • For old

Still works best in switches

Works great as a replacement for my failed OEM switch about 3 months ago. My symptom was that everything worked in the car until the key was turned to the start position. The fittings also worked in the positions, but once turned to spring-loaded "start", nothing. Used a jumper across the relay terminals in the fuse box to test the starter motor so the ignition came next.

Pros
  • Ignition starter
Cons
  • Useless features

Disconnect the battery!

This very inexpensive part appears to have solved a very expensive problem with my 2015 Buick Enclave. We experienced occasional stuttering when the engine was giving out lean oxygen sensor codes. I believe I've replaced all parts in the workflow before the combustion engine, including the oxygen sensors, mass air flow sensor, throttle body and fuel controller. That was the last exchange and so far nothing is jerky. Too bad GM didn't provide TBC on this! One advice I ignored was to disconnect…
