Same part as the original cheaper than anywhere else

Exactly the same as the original part fitted to a 09ft Suburban. It was cheaper at Revain than any other place I've explored. I managed to install without removing the air intake. Highly recommend and while it works great it fixed the terrible lack of oil pressure.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Negative impression

ARE YOU A DRUG? on transfer and transfer

That was the seller's reply when I politely asked why it would take two weeks to get the part. ARE YOU A DRUG? THEN DO NOT BUY! Seriously, this establishment has great customer support. Small operator doomed to fail. They may have to learn it the hard way, but I doubt they will. Future human with a universal basic income.

  • Nice packaging

They should be pretty much on the top.

Fixed problem on my 2009 Silverado 5.3L. FYI, my truck didn't have a screen under the gauge that some people have. It's a booger to get there, but not hard to change. There are several videos on YouTube on how to do this. hp Spend ten bucks more and buy a deep rosette made for her. Deep socket, wobbler, long extension cord. To get there, you'll have to pretty much lay down on the engine.

The exact part. in spare parts

The product has lived up to expectations and fits very well. Be patient when doing this work yourself. It's very difficult to get there and not a comfortable position to work at all. I recommend using the socket provided for this purpose. It fits well and helps. Check out some YouTube videos to help you. Also, don't forget to buy the small filter that fits under this sensor. You must also replace it.

Do Not Buy - Transmission and Parts

Says it was the right part for my 2011 Chevy Tahoe. It was too big to fit in the special oil pressure sensor socket I used to remove the old stock sensor. Installed and still the same problem. Went to NAPA and bought an oil pressure gauge and it fitted the special socket perfectly. Car started and no more problems. I'm shocked this piece of shit was AC Delco. This thing is too hard to get to. You definitely don't want to waste your time with unnecessary details.

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Some minor issues

Fits my 2011 Sierra 5.3

Well after sitting in my engine bay in 85 degree heat for about an hour or more cursing the old gauge I finally pulled it out and put the new one in, it fits right in and my gauge finally went above zero I have One more check engine light I need to clear but I'm happy to report that so far it's working. However, before proceeding with the installation, make sure you have a 1 1/16 deep nozzle, universal and extension as I didn't have a hole that deep and had to find it after work today. If you…

works great - tip GM 5.3 liters - remove sensor strainer

works great. 09 Silverado There was no oil pressure on the gauge, the engine STOP light came on. I'm a bit of a backyard mechanic so I drive it 30 miles with the lights/buzzers on. I KNEW I had oil pressure, lifters not ticking etc. On GM 5.3 liter engines BEWARE there is an oil filter screen. directly below this sensor. REMOVE IT and throw it away. It was designed to filter oil before the gauge but mine got clogged and I cleaned it with carb cleaner a year ago but it clogged again. I removed…

Don't pay a big repair bill, do it yourself!

A few weeks ago I started my 2010 Chevy Silverado 1500 5.3L V8 and the oil pressure gauge stayed at 0. This turned on the CEL. Not once did the engine make any noise to indicate actual low oil pressure, it ran normally all the time. A quick check of the OBDII code reader pointed to an oil pressure sensor (can't remember the actual code but I think it was P0521). I then searched online for "2010 Silverado 1500 oil pressure sensor" and found that the sensor was faulty. was a fairly common…
