perfect fit 2005 yukon 3/5 .and i'm sure others.

If you can't fill the tank, make sure this charcoal canister isn't clogged with debris or, worse, hasn't ruptured and hasn't filled the vapor lines with charcoal pellets. When you remove the canister you will know if the pellets will fall out. If this is the case you will need to remove the canister and bracket leaving the lines open. Pressurize the tank from the fill area with compressed air and a rag, you will see pellets flying out of the large steam line. Then disconnect the solenoid and…

I can finally pump gas without resetting the pump lever every few seconds.

I started with my AC Delco 214-1105 purge valve and canister filter that sits on the side of this main canister with no improvement. I ended up ordering this unit for my 2004 Yukon XL 1500 with 5.3 Vortec throttle configuration and it solved my problem. Now I can just leave the fuel pump injector until it's full and my fuel gauge shows full. Very difficult to install without a jack and stand but I managed. All you need is a socket wrench, a small flat head screwdriver and a flashlight. PROS:…

Get all 3 parts and clean the lines

I have a 2004 GMC Yukon 5.3 V8 with no flex fuel. I first bought a bleeder solenoid valve (214-2149) and bleeder valve (214-1105) for my car to fix refueling problems, but that didn't solve the problem. I ended up buying this product and using an air pump to clean the lines, which fixed the problem. If there are any problems in the next few months, I will update this review. Also, some information for anyone dealing with these issues. GMT800 vehicles were shipped with vehicles that do not…

Charcoal pellets on steam cans

Excellent item. If you are ordering this part due to a "SLOW" fueling and/or the "Check Engine" light is illuminated, there is likely an internal crack and you have charcoal pellets throughout the EVAP system. This may solve your problem for a while, but those balls flying around will give you problems later. It is better to remove the fuel tank and remove all emission lines for cleaning. The emptier the tank, the easier it will be to work with. Once the lines are removed, one breath will not…

  • Decent performance

Exact match to vapor canisters OEM canister

Appears like a well made copy of the OEM canister. Easy to install except lying on my back, working overhead under my car and struggling with snap connectors on OEM lines. I ended up cutting off one of the nipples from the old canister to erase the line. Note that your line from the fuel tank to the adsorber may be clogged and will need to be cleared of charcoal pellets. If pellets are leaking from the old tank when you remove it, the pellets may also be clogging the line to the tank. This can…

Fits 09 Tahoe 5.3 Engine

Here are the recommendations I have tested for you. EVAP Emission Clamps (when I did this all parts were sold at Revain:- ACDelco 214-2311 fits 09 Tahoe/07 Sierra 1500 5.3 engine but I needed the adapter harness 19257603. It doesn't come with hoses or charcoal canister with the hose the connection to this and the gas tank will break and the vent hole I re-cut clean (probably 1-2cm off, not much) on the broken end of the hose. It fitted with a heat gun (the torch is more likely to overheat)…
