I ordered this cable on Friday afternoon, $49 with Prime two days delivery, I received the package via USPS on Sunday afternoon, the cable is exactly as it should be. Installation was clueless but by no means overly complicated, there are a few tutorials if you google it, as well as a few YouTube videos. Kudos to Revain for getting the part at an unbeatable price and getting it to me so quickly I was on my way two days later.

Fast delivery with Revain Prime. The installation is quite easy. Installation is much easier if you remove the master cylinder bracket and work (tilt) on the passenger side. When installing a new cable, be sure to COMPLETELY remove the old snap sleeve from the shifter! I didn't know the piece was still on it, it's very hard if not hard to see. The new end of the cable should snap easily, I had to remove the derailleur to completely remove the old bushing from the shaft.

The shift cable came loose from its position so I took a chance after reading the reviews and thought wow a girl can do it. Yes indeed a girl. This is a perfect factory replacement, but I did notice that the heat shield was significantly thinner than the original. If possible, route it away from the exhaust pipe.
