Quality product.: Replacement parts

This canister vent valve fixes an issue on the 2004 Pioneer where the gas nozzle would click during filling, this valve will prevent this.

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Not the best

Code P0449 fixed on 2006 Trailblazer

2006 Chevrolet Trailblazer with 4.2L engine. The Service Engine gauge showed code P0449. This genuine GM part from ACDelco did it. I highly recommend buying a fuel line clamp to have on hand. I'm glad I did this as it saved me a trip to the parts store.

Pros
  • Hands Free
Cons
  • Functionality

Sold new but was a used part

This part appears to be used or refurbished. You can actually see where the old hose clamp was. risk that the used part will last. and have to fall again. especially when I paid for a NEW PART!

Pros
  • Dope 🔥
Cons
  • Good but not great

Easy fix for my 2007 Chevrolet Trailblazer

Easy to fix replace this one. I went ahead and did a gas cap as well, but the error code on my check engine light pointed to this unit. The gas cap only had to be replaced because the cable that holds it to the car when refueling broke.

Pros
  • Pretty impressive
Cons
  • New competitors have arrived

The replacement does not require mechanical experience.

This was a great product for our 2006 Trailblazer LT 4.2L V6. We removed the rusty spare tire, put it in the back and just unplugged and plugged in the 3 connectors. It may take 20 minutes if you are in a hurry and want to enjoy the parts replacement. A flat head screwdriver proved to be a useful tool. No mechanical experience is required to replace any of them. Simply slide under the bottom of the car until you see it, separate and replace.

Pros
  • Easy Setup
Cons
  • A few minor things

2008 GMC Messenger: Vapor Canisters

This part worked on my 2008 Messenger. Located across the back. Easy to install, the clip holding the tube to this part breaks easily. Zipper to keep the sides of the clip in the holder so they can't come back and hold the hose in place. I believe my engine code was p0449. There were no problems starting or refueling, just a code and engine light. Fast shipping and got me fixed right away. The code didn't show up again after 150+ miles before I reset the code and came back a few minutes later…

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • Poorly Thoughtful

Ideal for vape canisters

Really easy to install. I didn't have to jack up the car or anything like that. I went from behind and it was done. I removed the spare tire, that probably helped. In any case, all you need is a pair of pliers. Mainly because of an infamous plastic clip. In the photo you can see a thick tube with a white end, that's the one that has a clamp on it. The clip looks like a horseshoe. Be careful, it comes out very easily, just push out one side with a pair of pliers and you're done. Then simply pull

Pros
  • Ideal for a small house

Resolved DTC PO449

My 2007 Trailblazer showed DTC PO449. Bought this part, installed it, cleaned the code and it hasn't come back for two weeks, overall pretty easy install. I had to lift the back of the truck up a bit. But if you're skinny, you could probably get through without lifting the truck. Be warned, there is a clip that must be removed in order to remove the hose attached to this unit. You will most likely break the clip. From what I've read, most people do. The clamp broke in half but I just slid both…

Fixed error code P0449 on my GMT360!

My 2008 Saab 9-7x with a 5.3 liter V8 engine had a check engine light a few weeks ago which was odd as in all the years I've owned it I've had the light only ironically re-arrived about two years ago for another emission solenoid across the engine block. I scanned the codes and a P0449 came up along with a few other related codes related to this particular issue. I ordered a valve here from Revain, he came a day early, backed the truck up the ramp and slid down. Generally work for 10 minutes…

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Update available
