Perfect match for 2017 Silverado 5.3L. No leaks yet 5000 miles

Looked exactly like the seal I removed from my 2017 Silverado 5.3 2wd. The fit was perfect. I've driven 5000 miles since installing this gasket and have no leaks. Please click "Helpful" if this helped in any way, thanks!

Pros
  • Excellent overall
Cons
  • Expensive

Bait and switch and the wrong part!

Ordered better ACDelco parts, got cheap branded Duralast. These are cheap things that the local auto zones have, that are made in Taiwan and never last long. Plus, it's not even the right size. I compare with the old axle seal and the dimensions are different. 100% waste of time.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Some difficulties

Excellent quality seals, supplied pre-lubricated.

Used them to rebuild an axle and they seem to be the right gasket. I took my axle twice for other work and they broke or leaked. I would recommend the cheaper ones, they come pre-lubricated so the spring doesn't fly off if you hit it during installation. Be sure to buy two as they come as singles which are worth every penny.

Pros
  • Still happy
Cons
  • Interval

Exact Replacement - Great Price

I would like to confirm that this was an exact replacement for a 2008 Chevy Colorado 4x4. If the inner edge of the hub is too tight, you may run into seepage problems and regret not starting the job from the start. All in all, highly recommended, and at just over $10 for a seal, it was a steal. . Savannah WILL

  • Convenience Item

Wrong seal as described for rear axle differential

This gasket will not fit rear differential driveshaft end as detailed for 2001 GMC Sierra 1500 1500 5.3L Z71 10 bolt differential. Rated 1 because the description is wrong and I can't return it. Correct Part: ACDelco 26064028 GM Original Equipment Differential Drive Gear Seal. Buy RTV with this seal. Some installers just use lube, but the original seal had RTV on it when I removed it.

Pros
  • All right!
Cons
  • Out of service

Has worked as it should. - Seals

The fit was perfect, no leaks. Were even pre-lubricated where the axle slides! I installed them on my 2013 Silverado with a 10 bolt rear triangle. Make sure the surface is clean and free of burrs after removing the old gaskets before beginning installation. These are seals of quality, preparation is the key to their lives. I've put in 140,000 brutal miles with my OEM seals, tons of towing, towing, hot Florida summers in 100+ degrees and maybe a few races 🤙 even then there were just a few drips

Pros
  • Lots of positive vibes
Cons
  • I vaguely remember
