🔧 ACDelco Professional 39120 Drive Belt Tensioner Assembly: High-quality with Dual Pulleys Review

I just bought a terribly rusty 2001 Dodge Dakota with a 4.7 liter V8 engine. When I discovered that this unit came with a mounting screw AND a perfect fit, I was ecstatic. I had to destroy the OEM block to remove it, it was so rusty. Never buy a car from the east coast. you will regret it.

Ordered to replace the belt tensioner on my 2008 Jeep Liberty. It was correct, but unfortunately has a very bad design. The tensioner only started falling apart after it was bolted to the car and was no longer straight. I highly recommend using a higher quality product than this. I returned it for a full refund.

Free rotation, no noise. I decided to add some red threadlocker to the mounting screw. It's recommended to change the tensioner every time you change the belt (probably just another way to get more bang for our buck). Tensioners as spare parts in my tool box. They are still fine, the belt has just started to wear out and I have OCD from my truck making strange noises.

Perfect fit for Jeep Liberty 2003 V6 3.7L. Easy to replace. The only thing to note is that the original tensioner on one of the pulleys is metal and the one on the product image is plastic (black pulleys/pulleys). Unscrewing is difficult as the screw is hidden in the pulley and you need a lot of force to unscrew it. Once you've done that it's easy to swap out and this tensioner comes with its own screw that isn't hidden. Be sure to tighten it as tightly as possible.
