The fit is correct, no problems.

Good for 2008 Mazda 3 2.3 Grand Touring. The car is about 1 inch taller but they were just installed so I expect them to settle a bit.

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Ugly packaging

Great coil springs from the factory

These coil springs replaced the original rear springs on my 2008 Mazda 3. They sat on my car for about three weeks with no problems. They appear to be identical in height and features to the undamaged originals and cost less than half what the dealer was trying to charge me. It is not easy.

Pros
  • Weight
Cons
  • Not bad, but...

They don't fit right. As long as they're the same.

Not suitable. Although they are the same length, the final wrap on both ends is narrower (pigtail) than the OEM and does not seat properly. You can't even install a rubber grommet. Many people have mentioned that the car is about 1 inch taller with them. That's why it raises the car over IMO because it can't sit properly in the control arm or body. If you look at the last picture you can see the difference. Mazda 3 2012.

Pros
  • Elegant design
Cons
  • Defective

Hang your Mazda with these Made in USA springs.

I think it may have one more spring than the OEM but the overall width and length is the same as far as I can remember. My car rides a little higher than the 110,000 mile springs I replaced. If you accidentally hear a tambourine sound coming from your car when hitting a bump, it's the sound of a broken spring. They replaced my broken spring and are working perfectly. Also, according to the box I received, they are made in the USA.

Pros
  • Best
Cons
  • Big and bulky

Get those feathers! for spare parts

Perfect for the rear of the Mazda3 '08 after discovering that both rear springs were broken. The car drives great with these springs installed and they have raised the rear end a little which gives the car a nicer look. The rear of the car no longer sags. If your rear feathers are rusty underneath and large chunks of paint are missing, then you've probably already broken off half a turn of the bottom and don't know about it. Installed these springs. The difference is very noticeable.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Good but not great

These springs solved the noise problem.

My Mazda 3 was doing all sorts of knocks and rattles in the rear, especially at low speeds around town. Eventually I discovered that one of the rear springs on the lower end of the forearm was broken so it couldn't be seen without disassembling the suspension. I ordered a pair of these springs and installed them in less than two hours. They fit perfectly! Because they are made from larger diameter billet, they are slightly stiffer than OEM parts; but they drive nice! Because the car is stiffer,

Pros
  • Good price
Cons
  • Low repairability
