Description of ACDelco 530 393 Professional Premium Absorber

A hardened, chromed piston rod with micro cracks provides an ultra-smooth, self-lubricating, corrosion- and scratch-resistant surface, helping increase seal life. Drawn over mandrel (DOM) pressure cylinder for high quality sealing properties and reduced internal friction to assist with longer product life. Gas charged for reduced fluid aeration, which can result in better response, less foaming, and more consistent control than non-gas charged shocks. Full perimeter, multi-lip, piston rod seal is permanently lubricated and helps keep dirt and contaminates from reaching the interior of the rod. O-ring hydraulic piston seal resulting in minimized piston blow-by and consistent control.

The premium construction of this shock absorber ensures it provides reliability and longevity. Although it is slightly more costly compared to other brands, it is worth the investment for a smooth and safe driving experience..

First installed: October 2012. Exact replacement for our Buick Rendezvous. Works well. The ride after the exchange is great. Pretty easy to work with this car with basic tools. Update June 2015: We've only driven about 25-30,000 miles since the shocks were installed. On snowy roads, they caused a sharp ride from behind. I decided to replace them with KYB Gas-A-Just KG5045. ACDelco are twin tubes, KYB are mono tubes which is superior. At the moment I cannot recommend ACDelco more highly. They…
