Description of ๐Ÿ”ง ACDelco Professional 6K930 Serpentine Belt: Standard V-Ribbed Efficiency at its Best

Made with temperature and crack resistant EPDM rubber for a long life and quiet, dependable performance. Is the belt of choice by professional technicians, lasting 50 to 60 percent longer than retail belts (low priced belts sold at car part stores). Its precision dimension control of rib profile transmits load efficiently throughout the accessory belt drive systems (ABDS) allowing components to operate at optimum levels. Able to operate and accept misalignment in the accessory belt drive systems (ABDS) far greater than other serpentine belts. Its flexible construction allows the belt to withstand billions of topside and backside bends resulting in a long belt life.

Great value Strap

There was a loud squeak coming from the motor. Replaced the belt tensioner that was making the squeaking louder, then replaced the belt with this AC Delco belt. Ideal for the solved problem. The old belt was a cheap belt installed by the previous owner.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • No instructions

arrived damaged. otherwise perfect.

bought for 2006 Avalanche, fits perfectly, works perfectly, arrived damaged, looks like it was pinched in one spot resulting in a small cut, no problems straight away but I could foresee it being for Impact would have the overall life slightly shorter

Pros
  • good item
Cons
  • Modernity

Revain Prime nice to have

Installed this ACDelco 6K930 Serpentine belt on my 2001 GMC Yukon XLT 1500 (5.3L V8 130A Alt) along with an ACDelco 4K378 A/C belt. Removal and installation took no longer than 30 minutes. Both belts are made in Mexico and are of high quality. Revane Prime is nice to have.

Pros
  • Tough finish
Cons

Works with Chevy 5.3 with 145 amp alternator

This belt will fit Chevy 5.3 engines with a 145 amp alternator. Revain's Car Fitting Guide says it won't work, but Revain is wrong. I can't say how long it will last since I just installed it today, but it works and it's good enough for me.

Pros
  • Everything great!
Cons
  • New competitors have arrived

Perfect for spares

My Acadia has just over 100,000 miles, the maintenance schedule called for a belt change at 80,000 miles. I received this belt and installed it quickly. Note: The old belt looks pretty decent with no cracks or signs of breakage. Driven about 10,000 km without any problems. This is a great price and is as advertised.

Pros
  • An absolute legend
Cons
  • Useless features

Fits my truck for belts, hoses and pulleys

Perfect for my 2003 Sierra 1500 with 5.3L Vortec (145A alternator). If you don't work on cars much and buy this to replace aging belts, don't forget to also buy a separate AC belt (AC Delco 6K378). If your main belt gets old, your AC belt will probably get old too, and you'll have to remove the main belt to get to the AC belt anyway. save yourself the headache. At least if you have a truck like me.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • No power

Easier to replace than an oil change and a lot less messy!

Original belts have traveled 230,000 km. I would never have waited that long if I knew how easy it is to replace. For a 2004 Tahoe, all you need is a 10mm wrench and a 15mm wrench. Pull out the air hose (loosen each clamp) and then lower the pulley/tensioner - the belt will just slip off. The easiest way is to remove the alternator first (remove belt) and reinstall it last (refit). Revain also has a lot to offer. Parts received within 24 hours of order. I also bought a 4K378 A/C compressorโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Sea of positive emotions
Cons
  • Protection
