Revain Garage is wrong. Wrong part for 2006 Suburban

Wrong part Revain Garage said this fuel pump fits My 2006 Suburban 5.3. It is not. It has 3 exits from the top, the original has two. MU 1454 is the correct part number for this Chevrolet.

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Very expensive

Be very careful Revane says it will fit if it's not

It should fit in my truck, Revane said it will fit but it has three entrances from the top instead of two. Unfortunately, due to the way GMC mounts them hidden under the truck, it's very hard to know if you have two or three air intakes until you drop the tank. A very costly mistake. Thank you Rewin!

Worked great, OEM quality, plugged right in and gave the SUV more power

The GMC died in me 3 times in 3 rides on a very long 24 mile high mountain road climb so we suspected it was the fuel was overheating of the pump. No wonder, since the Stock One had 204,000 miles on it. There have been cheaper units but this is an OEM replacement with all the correct electrical and fuel connections making the job easier. Bottom line, the Yukon runs like new, has a lot more power and acceleration and no problems in the mountains. It almost feels like driving a new SUV. Very…

Perfect - cheapest online for OEM

Exact match/form/function of my original in my 2004 Avalanche. Now that he has a new fuel pump, the truck starts the first time every time. My old pump was fine but the built in fuel pressure regulator was bad so it took me a few tries to start the truck. I strongly recommend buying a new snap ring. They're under $10 and the old ones get pretty rusty sitting on the Ohio water and salt collection tank. See fig. I did not use any special tools and used a new o-ring. Just pushed down and my dad…

Fits like a glove best in fuel pumps and accessories

So far everything works fine. Driven a few hundred kilometers with no problems. Everything was well set up. I had to reuse the old gasket on my tank. This block came with a new gasket but it was too new and too thick and without the right tool I couldn't tighten the snap ring so after a few hours of struggling with it I tried replacing the old gasket and snap ring. pulled straight up. FYI, it would be a good idea to buy a new snap ring. Mine is pretty rusty. Even on the old block, I was only…
