Nice bike but misleading in terms of age.

I like the bike but the website says it is between 18 months and 5 years old. When I received it, the box said 3 and up. Bought for my grandson's 2nd birthday. It's too big and advanced for him. He is tall and developing for his age. He loves it and his parents decided to keep it as he got older but I was disappointed that he wasn't able to enjoy it when he got it.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design

It was a great find. My grandson is only 2 years old.

It was a great find. My grandson who is only 2 years old got on this bike the first day. A day later he was up, but he can still ride that bike around the house. My son said "Nana" did it again with her favorite gift. It is so light that children can easily learn to roll and push with their feet. I am very happy with this little bike.

Pros
  • Very impressive
Cons
  • I have no negative feelings about it, everything is fine

Looks good with different weight. Description

Looks good overall. The only problem I have is the discrepancy between the description on the internet and what it says on the box. The Ace of Play balance bike is described as growing with your child and is suitable for children under 6 years old or weighing 66 pounds or less. When we received it the box said it had a maximum weight of 20kg or 44lbs. I have written to the seller but there is no reply. Our son is 3 years old and weighs 48 kilos. After trying, the bike seems to hold up.

The best bike for small children up to 2 years old! Mine is so obsessed!

My 17 month old is quite small, 30 inches tall and weighs 19 pounds. He absolutely LOVES this bike! It's light enough for him to lift, and my husband loves bikes so much he was able to shorten the seatpost so we could lower it all the way down so Ace (our son's name) could touch the ground. Our little one can already walk with him and loves it when we push him. I would buy this bike again and again. Such a great purchase!

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • Non-Automatic

Not for 18 months

I agree with the other two reviewers with 2 and 3 stars. The bike's packaging and label state that it is not intended for children under the age of 3 years. My 18 month old will have to wait a little longer. He's tall, and even on the bottom seat, he can't put both feet on the floor. Also, in this setting, the seat tube touches the ground, which makes it somewhat dangerous indeed. I live in Florida where the weather is quite humid. I hope the bike isn't rusted when he finally gets to use it…

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Almost everything ok

This balance bike is perfect for teaching balance to a nervous child without the distraction of pedaling. My 6 year old daughter only spent 15 hours on this bike before gaining enough confidence to slide down a gentle hill without touching the ground until she slowed to stop at the end. She soon wanted to return to her traditional bike, which she was afraid of falling off. Now she is a confident cyclist who rarely gets into accidents and in such cases she handles herself well. I highly…

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Negative torque present

Decent product for the price considering other options

I liked that this bike was cheaper than the competition but had good reviews. I also liked that the description said it could be used from as young as 18 months (despite the packaging saying 3 years and over), although I wasn't sure why this could be used and not the others. However, when I bought it, I didn't realize it didn't have footpegs so my daughter could put her feet on the front wheel like most other balance bikes do. However, I don't know if that's a problem yet because the seat in…

Confidence boost and a great way to learn about two wheelers

Tried to get my 5 year old son to take his training wheels off. We tried a few tricks - run and then let go (he just puts his foot up), hold him under his armpits with a strap and then drop him when he goes (it worked for a few seconds, and then he has his foot put down again). Tbh the training wheels haven't even touched the ground at this point but it's a lack of confidence and just security. So our friend suggested an impeller. We wanted it to be light and adjustable for my 5 year old and…
