🔧 Ideal Replacement Parts Kit for Victor SR260A Acetylene Regulator Repair – Diaphragm Included! Review

Received unknown parts. I did not receive the 2 listed 2 inch clear plastic lenses. Another Victor repair kit was received.

As described and my torch is working now, the seat in the valve has deteriorated and the gas has blown the bypass to it Kit did the job. Fix it outside so there is no problem with explosives!

The parts included are very good. I forgot to mention that the main body gasket was not included in the kit and as it turned out that gasket was my problem.

My acetylene regulator set full tank pressure in my line and would not regulate no matter how I turned the adjustment rod. So I installed this kit and now my ESC is working fine. This is very easy and there are repair videos on the internet that you can watch.

I only use a Victor Oxygen/Acetylene unit occasionally and recently had to exchange empty gas cylinders for full ones. I expected everything to work fine but was surprised to see the acetylene regulator was leaking from high pressure to low pressure and not maintaining a constant pressure of 5-6psi but continued to rise to 15psi which is an unsafe working pressure for acetylene, it becomes unstable at 15psi and above and can send unwary welders to the promised land.
