Wooden blocks NOT acrylic

The description says these are acrylic blocks but I received what appeared to be opaque wooden blocks which made me very upset.

Pretty, but beware of sharp edges.

Was good quality but the edges are sharp so be careful you have to peel the paper off the plexiglass which hurts. BUT, it's good value for money and the stamps they sent were a nice touch.

Excellent acrylic block stamps, lots of work.

I like the stamps themselves, but the release paper on acrylic blocks is crazy. One side is a full sheet of paper and it peels off perfectly in one go, but on the other side the laser grid was printed after the release paper was placed so you have to spend so much time just peeling off all the tiny squares. Paper. too much time for me

Razor-sharp edges, adhesive needs to be peeled off a tiny square at a time

I wanted to love these blocks. I even did the difficult job of removing the protective adhesive layer square by square (the blocks were scored AFTER the adhesive was applied, which made removing a lot of fun). I cut my finger due to poor quality control. The edges were very sharp and some were curved, creating a razor blade. The stamp sheet that came with the kit was nice, but it wasn't worth removing the glue from the blocks and sanding them down to be safe.

It takes a long time to peel off the backing paper

This was a great purchase and I love the acrylic stamp blocks and the stamps that came with them. The only problem was removing the protective film. one tiny square at a time! Apparently they attached a backing paper before hammering in the grid lines. Therefore, the paper was also divided into small squares. And only one square is replaced at a time! You must have patience for this. Turn on the music and take a deep breath. I needed a knife to bring the edges to life. Once you peel off a few…

These are clear acrylic blocks. A lot, but you need to be prepared for two things.1. Acceptance of some rough edges. With regular use it doesn't bother me at all, but if you bother with those rough edges you can easily sand them down. 2. The grid is useful but you will need to remove the brown backing paper from both sides for all 5 blocks. And you need to do some work for the grid side - you need to unwrap each square.
