The door didn't open at all

installed in my Highlander (correct). Closed the door. The door does not open from the inside OR from the outside - the trap does not open. In panic. Luckily I was able to lower the window and pry the door panel off the top of the door, access the latch and open it manually. Replaced by Toyota OEM version - works great. I may have come across a broken device, but I advise you to check its operation before closing the door. Or just buy OEM.

Wiring harness does not fully engage

Drives are still working as expected after a few days. Pros: Very good price Looks the same as sealed OEM actuators * Strong locking/unlocking action Cons: 1. (-2 stars) Wiring harness does NOT fully insert into socket on both actuators. They will most likely vibrate loose over time, requiring the door panel to be removed to insert the connector. This is the main reason for the 2 star rating. It would be at least 4 stars if the wire harness could be fully snapped onto the socket on the…
