📷 Adafruit Flex Cable for Raspberry Pi Camera - Long Reach 24" / 610mm Cable Review

Bought this cable to mount the camera in a more convenient position without having to install the RPi side by side. Now the RPi sits behind the monitor on the desk and the camera is positioned higher with a well hidden angle of view and emails me a picture every time someone comes to my desk.

Bought to plug a Pi camera into a 3D printer with Octoprint. It was the perfect length for the job. These cables are awkward if you're trying to change direction a bit when bending, but if space is at a premium they're perfect because they're so flat.

A very simple cable. It works perfectly but when it didn't show up as planned I looked elsewhere and found 3 cables of different lengths in one pack at half price on Gearbest. . It finally arrived and since it's only a few dollars more I won't take the time to return it, but I will keep Amazon's delivery markup.

The cable that came with the Raspberry Pi camera is shorter than I need. It's actually longer than I need, but it works. One thing I wasn't aware of was that the connector on the Raspberry Pi 3B+ has a lifting clip that then needs to be lowered to secure the cable. (That was just my ignorance (caused by an omission in the documentation for the board, not the cable).

Fantastic. This cable is perfect for my needs. It also appears to be the same or better quality than the cable that came with my Pi Camera. I used to mount a RasPi camera in my 3D printer (check out OctoPi to get started) and the original Pi camera cable was too short. This new longer cable allowed me to finally mount the Pi board under the printer and route the ribbon cable into the case to the camera instead of letting my Pi sit unsteadily on my printer.
