got this because i wanted to use vga on my xbox one instead of hdmi because it gives a better picture and it works although you need to change settings Videos on Xbox must be DVI and not HDMI or colors will be turned off. I bought an item similar to this but without the power adapter and it didn't work and I felt it lacked power so I bought this one and I was right.

The product is ok. The first one didn't work with my PS4, I contacted the company and they quickly sent me 2 new units and a VGA cable just in case. They also suggested a few different ways to tweak the output on my PS4 so that it doesn't just show a green or purple display, but the correct color. The product is ok, it's worth it and it works. For a relatively cheap price I would say this is a good deal. I have two old monitors with only one HDMI or DVI and VGA connection.
