Failed: Networking products

Tried multiple computers, multiple drivers, multiple ports. I reformatted my computer and installed a clean Win10. I was able to get the PC to recognize the key and the key would recognize the HRM and cadence sensor but then it would shut down after 15 minutes. After that it dropped out every 2 minutes. I'm pretty sure it's the key after replacing it with another brand and the key works (45 minutes straight!). I returned it with no problems but decided to buy another brand.

Pros
  • Best in their niche
Cons
  • Negative experience

Stops working after a few hours

Bought to pair with a Cycplus heart rate monitor which the PC didn't pick up well via Bluetooth. Worked well on initial install and for 2 sessions lasting over an hour. During the 3rd session the signal kept dropping and eventually the device just crashed. i give it back I wanted to find an inexpensive alternative to more expensive sensors like Polar, Wahoo, etc. I have tried Cycplus and appreciate what they are trying to do but they are not ready yet.

Pros
  • One year trial period
Cons
  • Some flaws

Doesn't work with USB extension

This works fine when plugged directly into a USB port directly on the computer (I was only able to use 3.0 as that's all I have on my computer) . Once plugged into any length USB extension cable (I've tried 6" and 3ft) it stops working. It does not show up as a device on the computer. To test, I tried a powered USB hub, which worked. This was not a suitable solution for me as it was not possible to use a different power cord. Spending a little more money for a well-known brand device is worthโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Easy setup
Cons
  • It gives error

Not as good as the original Antself

I compared these to the original Antself Stick and they are definitely different. First, I noticed that this one has a few more dropouts and connection issues compared to Ant itself. Second, the reason for putting the star is that if you want to send ant+ (as opposed to the standard receive signal for zwift etc) it will NOT send it because the firmware won't allow it. This is a known issue that unfortunately hasn't been fixed, but will work for 99 percent of the population.

Pros
  • Dope ๐Ÿ”ฅ
Cons
  • Not everything fits

connects all my devices to Zwift easily

They all have good and bad reviews but I chose this one and it didn't disappoint. I plugged it in and don't have an extension for it and it immediately connected to windows and found my heart rate monitor and my speed and cadence sensor. Never lose signal during a 40-mile Zwift ride. When you're not using your phone as a zwift Bluetooth and Ant+ companion bridge, you'll need one to connect all your devices to Zwift and get all the data and benefits of zwift and strava riding. . Highly recommend

Pros
  • Pleasant to use
Cons
  • Crumpled

A quick way to connect speed sensors and HRM

Between inclement weather forcing me to sit indoors and a pandemic preventing me from simply going to the gym, I've chosen Indoor -Trying out cycling on my road bike and recently purchased trainer. By additionally purchasing a Garmin Speed 2 sensor and this ANT converter, I was able to quickly get the basic info I needed to ride with apps like Rouvy or Zwift. Also, I found that my smartwatch (Garmin vivoactive 3 music) emits an HRM signal via ANT if you enable it in the settings. And I haveโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Pretty packaging
Cons
  • There are flaws
