Swagtron K1 Two-Wheel Kick Scooter: Adjustable for Kids & Teens, Fold-n-Lock System, Kickstand, ABEC-9 Bearings Review

In less than a month my son was able to break it. This plastic part is broken and the locking mechanism is broken. It was worth the price but I wish his birthday present had lasted longer. Perhaps this plastic bit can be replaced with a metal bit for future designs.

My 8 year old loves this scooter. Love the fact that it has a kickstand which most scooters don't have and kids end up hurting themselves from dropped scooters. We have tried and tested several scooters but this one has a great design and balance which makes it easy to control. I even drove it myself, my parents approved!

Great - my son has outgrown his scooter (5ft 5in) and has an extra notch to add height to the handlebars as he grows. The foot platform is twice the size of his razor so the feet fit his man size! Gave 4 stars because the stand is useless and it was a big plus when I ordered, such a shame it doesn't work at all.

My son had an old scooter that was falling apart due to a missing nut. Instead of looking for a suitable nut, I decided to buy a new one. I think it's a very good investment because he loves it so much I have to hunt him down for dinner. Perhaps because the old scooter's wheels were worn out, he said the new one was much smoother. I'm very happy to see that he now enjoys being outside more than playing video games.

This is a very well made and sturdy scooter that my 9 year old loves. My only complaint is that the height options are mostly very high or very low. I ended up finding the right height for my son and then screwed the screw into the pre-drilled hole that was for the preset height adjustment. It was very easy to do and the scooter is perfect now. It would be very easy for the Swagtron to drill a few more holes in the stem for more height options. Otherwise the scooter is great!

Great scooter. My (8) year old is very tall and weighs 100 pounds. Finding him a scooter was next to impossible until we stumbled across it. My only "problem" is that we ordered navy blue for him, but it came in light blue/turquoise. We asked him if he was ok with this and he said yes, so we're not refunding him for the color he ordered. My husband had a really hard time putting this scooter together and that says a lot because he's really good at building things that most other people really have trouble with. Also, it keeps falling apart after my little 8 year old (she looks more like a typical 6 year old) tried to drive it down our driveway. The screws fall out in several places. I'm not sure if I'm having a marriage or what.1. This scooter doesn't seem suitable for 5+, the deck could be wider and it's quite heavy. Possible for 7/8+2. The handles don't fit. See photo.3. Good scooter. The only issue I have is that the stand isn't very strong. When the footrest is down, the scooter will shake a lot and most of the time the scooter will fall over. A family member lowered the footrest and the scooter fell over. This may be due to the footrest needing to be tightened or it could be a scooter malfunction.
