many people say the tool that came with the set broke for them. So I'm knocking on wood very hard when I say mine has worked great for multiple masks now! I'm sure those 100 packs were more than I'll ever need, but for $2.99 it was a great deal to fix masks that don't already come with adjustable ear straps.

Some of the masks that my kids wear most often are actually adult sized but have these style adjusters on the straps so we can adjust them. My youngest accidentally pulled out some of them and lost them. The ones we didn't lose, we still couldn't return to the belts. For a few bucks, they're a perfect replacement, and the tool that came with them made them easy to install. Now I have a spare bag in case this inevitably happens again.

I use these with 1/4" flat elastic in my sheet masks. The tool they come with isn't strong enough for me but I think it lies Remember putting a thick elastic through a small hole!They slide down great when worn and stay in place even in underwear.I use a needle and padding thread to catch the elastic and then thread it through the adjuster Make sure to tie a knot at the back to keep it from tearing again, and it's still a lot quicker than sewing the elastic ends together!

In the video for this product it seems to be relatively quick and easy to thread the cord/elastic through the stopper. Nothing is further from the truth for me! I couldn't do it with a tiny tool designed for this purpose or any other method. In the end, my artisan husband spent about an hour using pliers to seal the 35 masks I made for charity. Whether the stoppers will actually allow the wearer of the mask to slightly adjust the elastic loops above the ear remains to be seen.

I "lost" the mask regulator while washing or drying my daughter's mask. This is her favorite mask and I don't want to use it anymore. I found this product and was able to fit a new regulator fairly quickly. It comes with a BIG SIZE bobby pin which I felt was too big for the task. I am a beautician and I know my hairpins very well. I can see why you're getting 100 for the price. The first thing I'm going to say about this is that things don't last very long. It only took a few days for the silicone part to start cracking. I've been through quite a few of these. They're also not the easiest thing to put on a mask. The tool they provide does not come with any instructions on how to use it. I suspect that you can somehow attach and pull the side of the mask to this tool, but there isn't an exact way to do this with the tool.
