It's not much of a card file, for not much money. OK deal.

It's a very minimal 3x5 index card file. I bought it to use as a backup password manager. It is time consuming to keep this dual code system but a real gamechanger and time saver when something goes wrong with your password app. *heed Murphy's Law* I have a printer at hand. So, to update a password, I just open a website's 3x5 MS Word password file, change the login credentials, recovery code & anything else pertinent, change the revision date in the file name to the current date, print a copy…

Pros
  • The price is very reasonable and made of plastic.
Cons
  • Good price for the item. Solved the lid problem with a rubber band.

Works great for my needs.

I just wanted a light weight, inexpensive card box to hold my recipes and this box is working out great. Upon arrival the box was packaged in the open position and the plastic hinge was a bit stiff from the cold weather. So, I used a small heat gun to gently warm up the hinge area and this allowed for a more flexible working hinge. As for the box size - it would easy hold 400+ cards and room to allow for cards with index tabs. The box is sturdy and the top lid will open with gentle prying up…

Pros
  • will hold recipes in it. perfect size for my needs
Cons
  • Does not include dividers

You get what you pay for

Mine came broken along the seam where the lid meets the bottom half. Since it was only a few dollars it wasn't worth the hassle for me to return it. It hasn't broken any further and can store a lot of 4x6 note cards. The price reflects the quality, so if you are looking for something that will last more than a year or two and withstand a lot of use, you should buy a different product.

Pros
  • Cards & Card Stock
Cons
  • Can take up valuable desk space

Meh! It's ok best in my review

For the price of this index card contaner I won't complain to much. But every time I pick the container up it just pops open and and my cards fall out. I use it to hold my NEC 2017 study guide index cards and for the purpose of that it does the job well if it is just sitting on a shelf. But when I transition the container with my cards inside I have to be really careful because one time to many I had to pick up over 300 index cards because they fell out of this index card container. But for the

Cons

Fairly durable and price is great.

I’ve now purchased many of these. The lid is hard to close on a few but works well on others. Like the price since I need many.

Pros
  • Great way to store away index cards
Cons
  • Heavyweight cardstock may not fit snugly

Open/Closing a Box is Vital!

Based on the reviews I figured, what could go wrong? Its just a cheap plastic box to store index cards. Unfortunately, I was wrong. There are more intricacies to a simple index card holder than one can imagine. My item arrived undamaged with the lid opened and the bottom half of the box bent inward. The box cannot close because it has been kept open while in storage (I assume) and with the bottom half being bent in. It simply cannot snap close with the top cap. I've tried my best to push the…

Pros
  • It’s okay. Does the job. Basic plastic. Definitely nothing fancy.
Cons
  • Can become bulky when filled to capacity

Does what is needed, won't stay closed

It holds the index cards well but the top does not like to stay closed and keeps opening, which isn't too important for me, but might be something other people need

Pros
  • ‎5-x-8-inch
Cons
  • Limited placement options due to size and shape

Quality lighting for cheaper price!

Great for the price! It has 3 settings in light level. I got this to use with index cards, I wanted to make flashcards for my zoo lab and copy the model images onto index cards. It works! You can clearly see the images on the paper behind the index card. My only 2 small issues were this: first it came to me with a handful of scratches on it and second, it only lights when plugged in. I had hoped it could charge up and be used unplugged for awhile, but this is not the case. It comes with a USB…

Pros
  • ‎9.2 x 5.7 x 5.6 inches
Cons
  • Not compatible with electronic cards

Worth its price good for me

Not the fanciest but it serves its purpose. Looks a little cheap but holds the index cards & thats all I want it for. No problems with the lid staying closed so far, but I only got it today. will update after using it for a while.

Pros
  • Index Cards
Cons
  • May not be durable enough for heavy use

You get what you pay for

It is cheap to purchase, and it is made cheap. You absolutely get what you pay for. It does not close that securely, it always feels a bit loose. I only use it for coupons so it is not a big deal.

Pros
  • Office Products
Cons
  • May not be suitable for frequent card swapping

It does the job in my review

This works well for me as a recipe card holder. I knew from reading other reviews it was thin and flimsy, and the latch wouldn’t work well. That was fine with me, and I got exactly what I expected, a cheap box for 4x6 cards.

Pros
  • Fits about 200 laminated 3 x 5 cards pretty good
Cons
  • Does not latch, clip or stay closed at all

Don't waste your money

I paid 6.12 for an index card holder that I should have paid .50 for. It was shipped in an envelope in an open position in the envelope. It is so cheaply made it is almost laughable. I would be ashamed to sell a piece of junk like this.

Pros
  • This is exactly what I was looking for. Very sturdy.
Cons
  • May not fit standard business cards

I bought 3 good for me

I bought 3 . To get away from tv I have been buying and reading lots of books and magazines I bought 1 for the books one for the magazines and 1 for the children's books I collect. Get back to reading !

Pros
  • We put 5x8 cards in it.
Cons
  • It does not stay closed easily, but it serves it's purpose once it is closed.

Pretty basic for my opinion

This works perfectly fine for what I need it to do, but the lid does not close very securely and it frequently pops open. Thanks for attention!

Pros
  • ‎6.4 ounces
Cons
  • Cannot be used for anything other than index cards

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Poor quality - my new review

Very flimsy. Not worth the money. I bought 2. With 1 it pops open hard to close. The 2nd one doesn’t not close and stay closed. It’s completely out of alignment. Don’t buy not worth it

Pros
  • kids using it not only for the cards but to store their stickers and spelling cards and many more
Cons
  • It’s very flimsy so the snap go close doesn’t always align.

Revainrating 2 out of 5

lid constantly opens

it is kind of thin plastic and more flexible than i expected. the lid does not stay closed if there is any movement. i guess if you leave it on a shelf that's fine, but i put mine in a open stiff, reinforced sided reusable grocery bag with some books and pencil cases and it is always opening. i would NOT recommend for back packs.

Pros
  • Stackable design
Cons
  • Can be cumbersome to carry around

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Works well, but could be more balanced

This works great for holding my index cards. One thing I don't like is that it's a little uneven if it's not full. I can't keep it open without it falling over until I have enough cards inside of it.

Pros
  • Works perfectly for the wife’s recipes
Cons
  • Limited capacity of 300 cards
