AEM Cold Air Intake System (21-721C) in Stylish Black Finish Review

Easy to assemble, looks great! Judging by the position of the pants, I can't speak for a performance improvement, but this is the only update I've made.

Great shot. Ease of installation. Mini watch out. This should be a bench feature on all Mini Coopers. I highly recommend this cold air intake. I installed a JCW R58 on my coupe.

Installation was too easy. I was really surprised. My rear dyno can't tell the power difference, but I get more intake noise, so it was worth it. It's a little more expensive than other supplements on the market, but it has so much more. Overall a good buy

Great kit! Took about an hour to install and zip everything up, makes a huge difference!. and IAT are slightly reduced. (To actually replace them would require a larger intercooler) but it allows my car to breathe much easier and with the hood scoop it actually has access to cleaner air.

Really amazing, you can feel the car pulling harder. Definitely having a direct air intake is always great. The very simple installation took about an hour. The only downside I noticed is that the new 90 hose connector for the bottom of the air case lacks a clamp to hold the air line in place, instead having to use a zip tie to hold it in place. This clip is standard on the OEM version. Durable except for the lack of a clip, highly recommended for those looking to make small upgrades.
