Very comfortable and stable.

Very comfortable boot. The air bubbles are a great help for the fit. I broke a bone in my foot and was isolated in a boot for 4 months. My first boots were Breg and they didn't hold or offer the support/stability needed for the bone in my foot to heal. The Aircast boot has a solid base that keeps my foot stable. My personal opinion if I had started with these boots I would have healed much quicker due to the stability and isolation. The boot may be a little warm as the body is mostly plastic…

Don't waste your money on a doctor

I was having problems with my legs due to an old army injury. I didn't get any support from the VA, so I went to the pediatrician myself. They took X-rays and wanted me to spend a few weeks in a hiking boot until they put on new orthotics. The pediatrician's expenses for the shoe should be over $300. At first I was hoping to find it in an application like Offer-Up, but no luck. The second quickest option was to get one on Revane. Aircast was a great option. It was a lot cheaper than going to…

Insanely uncomfortable More harm than good

Sprained my ankle in the ER and got a makeshift cast due to running out of hiking boots. I was told it was up to me to decide whether to order one myself or wait for the specialist to put me one on one in a week and a half when he looked at it. I ordered this because of the Aircrast brand. My first impression was wow, it looks amazing and well made, I was so thrilled. After only 2-3 days I can't, I just can't. Removing this thing is a huge relief. The plastic part on the front is so cheap and…

Best walking cast/CAM boot I've ever had (and I've had several!)

Best CAM boot/CAM boot I've ever had and sadly I still have 4 Perfect fit, strong foam, front plastic protection helps to evenly distribute the tension and force generated by the velcro straps (which, believe me, if you've been doing this for weeks, for both your skin and calf important is). They're pretty hot because of the foam, but that's the problem with all those tube boots - I've bought long tube socks from Revain that go to the knee, which really helped prevent the dermatitis you can get

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Doesn't go with everything

Comfortable but not for long.

I have had these boots for about 3 weeks and they are already worn out. The first issue I had was the boot makes a squeaky noise and feels weird at heel strike, but it's not really a big issue and definitely not the reason I gave this review such a low score. The velcro that wraps around the foot (large gray insert) becomes less sticky and completely unusable in places. Yes, Velcro wears out, but not that quickly.2. There are 3 straps to tighten and secure this. The top strap keeps detaching…

Pros
  • hands free

  • very expensive
