Akebono ACT1346 Front Brake Pad: Advanced Performance in Sleek GREY Design Review

These brake pads fit my 2008 Infiniti G37S Coupe (Sport version). The brakes are very quiet and work well. Definitely better than stock.

Revain claims that the Akebono ACT1346 front brake pad is compatible with base model 2014-2015 Infiniti Q50 or premium model. INCORRECT! This front brake pad is designed for sport brakes or upgraded DOUBLE DOUBLE CALIPER.

The item arrived already opened. They didn't appear to have been used, but the pads were already filled with grease and the hooks for the pins that go next to the cylinder were missing. Spend the extra $30 and go to Pepboys, they have the pads you need.

These are NOT the correct pads for the Q50 with stock brakes! I waited for them to arrive, they didn't look right, I went to the Akebono website and did a parts search. The correct pads are actually ACT1736, not these (ACT1346). Unfortunately I trusted the Revain-Automatch, who told me they would work with my car, but they are for "Sport" brakes with a two-piston caliper. I have a 2014 Infiniti Q60S with Akebono 4 piston calipers. The car had original pads and squeaked almost every time I hit the brakes. It was awful when you backed up and then hit the brakes.
