I have a 2014 Infiniti Q60S with Akebono 4 piston calipers. The car had original pads and squeaked almost every time I hit the brakes. It was awful when you backed up and then hit the brakes. The car only has 19,000 miles on it so I figured why not put the original pads in and when they wear out you can find something better. Well I just had this horrible squeak. I've tried everything. I ended up saying gosh and bought a set of these pads. They have beveled edges, which I think significantly reduces noise levels. Anyway, I installed them and voila! The brake squeal is finally gone. Now if only I could find something that ever made that ticking noise near the windshield when hitting bumps or on a rough road and I'd be in noise-free heaven.
