BADLY MADE - doesn't work!

For a fairly simple device with 2 moving parts that don't move, that's amazing! None of the metal sandpaper clips can be moved from the sandpaper holding position to the release position. The solution was simple. One of the "protrusions" that the snap holders had to clear to release was a bit long which completely interfered with release. I sanded down two of the problematic "tabs" (one at each end) to shorten them a bit. and it works fine now. How long will it take is a good question. But in…

I like that the outsole has a soft rubber tread.

As other reviewers have noted, it has an odd shape. Just too long and narrow for half a sheet. Why? The clamps are stiff, but can be released by pushing them out of the latch rather than simply prying open with brute force. I like that there is a soft rubber tread on the bottom to provide a bit of cushioning, which I think helps when sanding surfaces that aren't perfectly flat (by design or age). However, since it requires an oddly large piece of sandpaper, I hardly ever used it. I would return

Well made, the paper cannot be replaced

I have a lot of half size hand sanders in my collection as I always sand by hand before finishing furniture. So I'm not new to hand sanders and how they fix paper. So to summarize my experience with this grinder. Advantages. It appears to be very well made with quality parts. Very comfortable in the hand. The spring clips used to hold the paper are very strong. So strong that two people could not open the clips with their hands. We had to use a pry bar to open the clips to install the sheet of…

A Drywaller's Best Friend

This was easily one of the best home improvement purchases I've made in the last year. I had a lot of drywall repairs in my new apartment and most of them were pretty small patches. I thought rather naively that a little sandpaper and elbow grease was all it took to take care of her. Using a hand sander for the first time is life changing and this one is very well done. Being able to get a smooth finish over a large area or even a small area by applying even pressure helps a lot. Allway grip is

The product dimensions are incorrect and do not trust the Q&A.

Questions and Answers showed that I could use the 9 inch precut sandpaper that I ordered in bulk in various grit sizes. Being able to sand and polish the step stool that belonged to my husband's late grandmother I find they really do NOT match. So should I order a different sandpaper to go with this product or do I just buy a regular old hand sanding block in the size that fits my current paper? Yes, the Q&A section somehow exceeded 13.4 inches in my opinion as stated in the description, which…
