Good for a small project or two

This blade is fine. I admit it's harder for me than most. Being a retired bricklayer, I used this blade to cut bricks and blocks of masonry for a large decking project. It didn't quite last through the entire project. Although it would be great for a weekend warrior.

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • Little things

It performed well in concrete

Cut a total of 24 feet in concrete and still cut great in the end. I kept spraying water on the blade, stopping every 6 inches to clear the mud. It went surprisingly fast, cutting at around 9-12 inches per minute. My skill saw wanted to drift to the right, it took some muscle to keep it on course. But I don't think it has anything to do with the blade. Good blade for a good price.

Great blade for the price

I bought this blade for a mailbox project and am very happy with it. I made 12 cuts through 2 1/2" blocks of stone and the blade didn't slow down or have any trouble going through them (slowly and smoothly). I used it as a dry blade on my cheap Menards angle saw at the tool store and it was amazing. If you are doing a home project this is perfect, not sure how it will perform for commercial use. Buy prime and get a 30 day return window.

Works best in power tools and hand tools

Install a new fence, a second planter and lay pavers to block the wall. As a result I had to cut 49 pavers and it turned out great. The 6 inch blade only cut halfway so I had to turn around and cut the back side, 98 cuts total. It cut a little slower toward the last few, but the last cut was at least 90% lighter than the first. I almost missed the blade was pointing and if inserted backwards it would cut on the back of the notch but not very well and for very long. I highly recommend.

Pros
  • Ideal for a small home
Cons
  • The list will go on.

Blade does his job.

I needed to cut some pavers/bricks for a small project. This blade did a great job. Clean cut, no struggle. I just cut out a few blocks that I needed to finish the splashback that I installed around the drain pump outlet (I usually run hose but wanted to build a small wall in case I wasn't home and turned it on mulch so it doesn't wash off). After that the blade looked fine. would recommend. I will update when using in future projects. As a side note, there's a lot of dust when dry cutting…

Cuts well but brass parts fall out

This thing came with an odd spec describing how to install different sized mortises. What they did was push a brass bushing into the mandrel hole. This fit my little angle grinder setup, but as I used the tool the blade started to slip, and eventually the blade stopped spinning when it met resistance in the concrete block. I squeezed out the loose bushing and readjusted my tool for a larger shaft. I completed the work without any further problems. So this works, but may fail if you depend on a…

A bargain that works very well.

I needed an inexpensive concrete block cutter for a retaining wall I was building. The blade fit my Dewalt DWS780 miter saw (I used the adapter ring on the original Dewalt blade for this blade) and it worked great. This blade cut 4 x 6 x 12 inch blocks like butter and some of the cuts I made had to be very precise. I could even shave off thin slabs if I had to and chipping was minimal or non-existent. At least a dozen blocks with no slowdown. I would buy this again and recommend it to anyone…

So far so good for saw blades, parts and accessories

So, we got the new blades and today was the first day of "trying out" these blades. If you're cutting a rock, you already know that what matters isn't how well they start cutting, but how long they keep cutting, smoothly and without calling out the 300-pound gorilla of your inner caveman. Well, at the end of the first day it was about 70-80. 14 inch slots were cut through the 1 1/2 inch concrete block top caps for the landscape wall blocks. Result? They also cut very well. There should be some…
