Looks good hope they last

Looks pretty decent for the price. The pins are sharp and long (be careful when installing on children's bikes, they can seriously damage them). They have a little rubber bushing on the shaft to keep dust out. Hope they last long.

Pros
  • Handy item
Cons
  • Useless features

A little problem: cycling

I really liked them when I saw them. Well built, looks great! You only have one problem. With such a thin design, the middle section has become too thick. When pedaling, I feel like my feet might slip. This part of the pedal needs to be either flush or recessed for it to feel right. I'm still using them to see if I can get used to the feeling. My feet did not slip during this time.

Pros
  • Easy installation
Cons
  • So-so

Cheap and works well.

These are cheap copies of one of the big brands. In general I am satisfied with them. They were well marked and rode the bike with no problems. They feel good underfoot and the screws definitely dig into your shoes. The photos show that they received some damage, including one of the screws that broke. I can't tell if any of the larger brands would have done better, but that's the reason for deducting a star.

Pros
  • Several competitors
Cons
  • Functionality

Bearings lubricated, no complaints so far.

Good deal for the price if you want to take the pedal apart and tighten the nut that holds the pedal together. I've read about the center of the pedal being "too high" and hitting the shoe due to poor traction, but I haven't noticed this on my mountain bike. I wear 5Ten Impacts with no problems. Update of this pedal from 06/11/20. I haven't had any problems with this pedal since I installed them. As mentioned, I opened up the pedal and re-greased it. I also interlocked the nut on both petals. A

Haven't driven many kilometers with it yet, but.

Haven't ridden many miles yet but they stick to your shoes very well. I have a suspicion that the bearings weren't lubricated from the factory so I'll check them out soon. Update February 19th 2020 Bearing caps fell out because they were not tightened resulting in premature bearing failure. Pedal ribs split in several places from grinding while turning. Overall decent but could be stronger. By my calculation I rode them about 100 miles before they started cracking and rode another 30.

Pros
  • Perfect for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Minor issues

Good but not great

The pedals are well made. Looks good but the center section is flush with the pins so traction is compromised. The shoe just couldn't fully sink into the pegs for maximum traction. Maybe it's my foot position, but I pressed the center of the pedal firmly with the ball of my foot. I think most people do that too. After a few instances of my foot slipping during a particularly steep climb, I switched to a set of IMRiders and the problem hasn't recurred. Replacing the pins with more aggressive orโ€ฆ
