COMFORT AND SAFETY - Used by veterinarians as an E-Collar alternative to protect abdominal wounds for cats, dogs, and rabbits. Increases mobility, reduces stress, accelerates healing, and reduces the risk of infection by keeping the wound safely protected. MALES VS. FEMALES - After Surgery Wear has a cut in the back to allow most female animals to urinate/excrete while wearing the product. To ensure the abdominal area is fully protected, the product does not have an opening for male animals to urinate. Before going on a walk or letting male animals outside, the product must be partially removed from the back legs and retied along the body (see picture in listing). SIZING – For sizing instructions, please refer to the size chart in the images and measure carefully. To ensure a secure and snug fit, the last pair of strings should be crisscrossed with the second last pair of strings (tie the left side of the last string with the right side of the second last string and vice-versa). PATENTED DESIGN - Adjustable strings ensure a custom and secure fit for animals of all shapes and sizes. Includes an adhesive hygienic pad (for sizes XXS, XS, S, M, ML, L) that should be placed onto the fabric to absorb any discharge from the wound. FABRIC - Specially woven fabrics deter most animals from excessive licking. Breathable and light fabric allows for constant air-flow circulation allowing the wound to heal safely. Fabrics are 100% pure cotton and hypoallergenic to prevent skin irritation. Machine washable (before washing, tie a knot at the end of each string to minimize fraying).

Better than expected!

My rottweiler had abdominal surgery with 12 inch staples. It was immediately clear that the HUGE cone they had given her would not suit us. I found this product, took the measurements according to the instructions and it was a perfect fit for her. It was a bit difficult to put on her because she wanted to sit all the time, so we eventually found with two people that we could roll her onto her back and put it on much easier when she was lying down. When it comes to dogs, size matters

I have 2 Boston Terriers, the youngest bitch is 6 months old. When it came time to neuter her I realized the cone wouldn't work for us, especially as our older dog licked the wound for her rendering the cone useless. Super functional, continuous bladder release and the best cone alternative

The highest $30 I've spent on my dog. I bought this costume as an alternative to a cone for my 1 year old Shih Tzu who has been neutered. Happy Calm Post-Surgery Cat

I was a little skeptical about using this collar on my cat but she hated the e-collar the vet sent her home so I decided to Giving him one to try and I was pleasantly surprised at how awesome it is! Sort of like a pet hospital gown.

Due to problems with urination, our dog had to undergo penile surgery. We must keep him quiet and not lick the wound for 10 days; Not an easy task for a 3 year old poodle!
