I liked the reviews, the price and not having to bother with returning the core. :00. It spun instantly and was installed in 20 minutes. So far it works perfectly and delivers 14.4 volts. The battery indicator no longer lights up.

While that doesn't indicate it's under warranty I could buy two or three of these for the price of one with warranty from your local parts store. I was in a situation where I had to supply an alternator and it worked out fine. Installed a few weeks ago, no problems. So far this has worked great and made a huge difference!

Looked good, the box had a test sheet saying this alternator is putting out the correct 14+ volts, I installed everything; also bought a new battery in napa, battery in the middle of the road, my truck battery light came on. I checked it and 12.29 volts. So now I don't have a truck anymore and I have to remove and reinstall another one: it's easy to return it, Revane. 1999 Ford F150 4.6L

Not a bad deal to have it on your doorstep in 2 days with no returns or hassles at the parts store. The '98 Expedition had the classic symptoms of an alternator failure. I checked the battery connections, voltage etc and decided I would just replace the alternator. Installation took about an hour. 3 screws and 3 wires. There were a few other things I removed to get out of the way, but even that happens pretty quickly. Installed, the system loads as it should. Very easy.
