Not suitable for my use.

I'm sure this will do for many purposes as it is easy to shape and stays soft for a long time, but making the mask or other things thinner than 2.5cm was useless . When drying, large wide cracks formed on it, and when it was completely dry, the object simply crumbled and crumbled.

Great Value: Clay

Easy to use and great value. I usually pay almost the same for a tiny 3 1/2 x 5 block. The only problem is that it gets pretty brittle when it dries. Although maybe that's my fault because I haven't worked with clay much. I use it for kids projects that don't take long. So for me it's not a big problem. The price is worth it.

I will now have a lot more fun in my free time.

I have never used clay. I enjoy making art for fun and I'm by no means a professional, but I've found this to work extremely well for me. I had a lot of fun and was able to implement what I had planned. I wanted to make a wolf-like character and I was able to do it with this product. I used 16 gauge rebar wire as a backing before applying the clay so the finished piece would have more structural integrity. It dries relatively quickly, but having water to wet the tips of your figures gives theโ€ฆ

Small letters on the box indicate that this clay is not intended for use with rebar or structural members due to shrinkage. Well, that's putting it mildly. You know those horror movies where someone dies and turns into a severely cracked version of themselves before falling to the ground in a pile of dust? If so, then you know what happened to my mud-roofed fairy house. I gave the remaining ยฃ9.8 to a friend with two small children. I believe this tone is only good for plucked pots andโ€ฆ

This is a great clay for home use, especially if you enjoy working with clay but don't want to spend a lot of money on kilns. I read a review that said the clay is too wet. This is wet clay packed in a plastic bag which is great for resealing to keep moist. The moisture has been reduced, once the clay is properly wedged (thrown on a canvas covered board or table) it becomes very workable. I found it suitable for making coils and plates. I didn't throw it at the wheel, but it should work fineโ€ฆ

For the price, you can hardly go wrong!

I am a teacher and I bought this modeling clay to give my students the opportunity to work with modeling clay. I was worried because I read most of the bad reviews and assumed the worst. However, the price was so good that I figured I couldn't go wrong! Considering I went to art school and worked with tons of different types of clay I was amazed by the quality of this air dried clay. The kids loved it! It was a little messy, but that's to be expected. With a little water, the students couldโ€ฆ
