Disappointing Precision Router Bit for DIY Projects

As an avid DIYer, I was excited to try this router bit for my latest project. Unfortunately, it did not live up to my expectations. The precision was lacking, resulting in a lot of rework and frustration. On the plus side, it was easy to install and remove. However, I would not recommend this product for anyone looking to create high-quality, professional-grade pieces. It's better to invest in a better quality router bit for more accurate results. Pros
  • Produces precise and intricate engravings and sign rendering
Cons
  • Challenging to use for those without previous experience in engraving or signmaking

Very fragile! Not suitable for wood carving.

Probably a great tool. Too bad I broke off the tip with it on my first job. I've read reviews here warning that this is a fragile tip. So I used very low dive and feed/speed speeds, but apparently not slow enough. This tool is nearly useless for hardwood carving due to its very brittle nature.

Pros
  • Power tool parts and accessories
Cons
  • Non-automatic

Plunge 150mm/m, Travel 500mm/m, Doc 1.5mm. Cutting hardwoods Paduk and cutting board cherry. About 10 minutes after the cut I paused the project to check the tip and sure enough the tip was already broken. I'm not sure if there are any feeds and speeds that this bit could handle even moderately hard…
