This drill does not correspond to the table. High accuracy and service life are superior to conventional carbide hole saws. Using it on a CNC machine will cut a lot of hard mesquite wood. Costs money. Just don't hit with staples and don't throw the bat away.
It's .100 thick maple, was hoping it would cut better with 3 grooves, tried different speeds and feeds with same results. I've been trying to find someone to contact about Amana Tool, emailed them but no response yet.
I've been using this for a few months now and it's really good quality. My carving was starting to look better, much better. And I ended up using this bit more than my favorite 90Β° bit (although they are from China and are no match for this masterpiece).
Ok first time with one of these. I made some test cuts on the oak with the inscription. It was small letters and it worked great. So I decided to try bigger cuts and had no problem cutting 1/4" in one pass without burning or rattling the wood. I cut at 400mm per minute and it worked great.
You'll never regret spending a few extra bucks on this accessory. I've been using it as my main tool for every V cut for a few weeks now and it works flawlessly. It works so well that sometimes (depending on the type of wood) I don't even have to do a fine sanding. I mainly use it on exotic hardwoods and it stays as sharp as it was when purchased. I have tried many different brands but this is by far the best.
