I couldn't even power up the motor mechanism for the tail until I cut the fish open to get to the mechanism and then reset it up after doing this a couple of times I finally just put a sock over the mechanism and let my cat play with it like that it was really not a very good cat toy. All in all the little, rolling Green ball with lights is much much better. Like I said with other things I should have just returned it but I didn't think they would really want it back since I had to cut it open…

With a product like this, and an energetic cat like ours, we stayed entertained for a hilarious amount of time.She tore into this thing for days and it's held up and still looks brand new.She only stopped playing with it because I tossed it toward her, and the thud on our wood floor freaked her out.We're hiding it for a week so hopefully she forgets how it scared her (she will not go near it right now) but even if she never touches it again, it was a solid purchase.

My cats were a little freaked out by the noise this fish made when its turned on and moves. They seem to like it better when it's off. Go figure. They also like hair ties and cardboard boxes so I'm not sure why I keep spending money on them.

The product works just fine. The cat touches it (sometimes it takes a few touches, perhaps too lightly the first times) and it wiggles. Three cats. One plays with it occasionally and the other two tried it once or twice, seemed to enjoy it, but didn't go back for more after that. It is a worthwhile toy to try, but don't expect all cats to love it all the time. Some might and some might not. I'd recommend it. The toy works fine.

This is a hilarious toy but it doesn't work for my cat. The motions it makes are so jerky, it just spazzes all over and my cat stares at it like "Get it together fish!'. Plus it's pretty noisy, especially when it thumps above my husbands office. Might work for a full grown adult cat who is a little low energy but likes to kick things. I don't regret buying it though, because of the laughs.

One cat lovess this thing. Goes crazy for it when it flops around. The other just loves catnip and wants to sit on it.You will have to charge it pretty often and the cats may get tired of it every now and then. Money well spent.

My older cat mainly loves it for the catnip, but my kitten will throw this toy all over the place. Cat loved it for one day puppy Likes it sometimes! She's in love with it.

This seemed like a great toy for my cat. He has attitude BUT this toy really ticked him off. He kept holding it by the tail and kept getting flopped in the face. Two times with that happening and he promptly urinated on it. It would work great with a cat who could figure the toy out or a cat with less attitude. (We still love him bunches, though) :)

My cat has maintained interest in this toy for more than a month now. The battery holds a charge for several days and recharges by usp. The toy seems to be well made. It has increased my obese cat’s activity level. Highly recommend.

While the cats enjoy playing with it, the battery only lasts about 10 minutes before it has to be plugged in again. That's my review.

Love the fish and so does the cat. She bats it around. It stops moving after a few minutes and will stay still till she bats it again.

My cats are scared of it when it’s on. And only a little interested in it, when it’s off, because of the catnip inside. That's my feedback.

I took a chance with my German Shepard. Feared he would think its a chew toy. It turns out he doesn't chew on it and when we go upstairs for bedtime, he insists on hunting for it to bring it along with him. Showed no interest in chewing it. Seems very durable.

My cat loves playing with her fish. I love that it is motion activated, so when she takes a break it turns itself off. She loves it so much, she fell asleep with it!

My cat absolutely loves this toy. I have lots of toys for him and he plays w it all the time. Hes an in and outdoor cat. I forget to charge it though.

My cats would fight over this fish at first. It was adorable watching them carry this rather large fish around while it's flopping in their mouth. Sadly, like most toys, they got used to it after several days and so it has lost its charm a bit. It scared the life out of my housekeeper though.
