They don't charge very quickly.

The cables themselves seem strong enough. However, with the same power adapter, they charge my iPad about a quarter faster than the OEM cable. It's too slow. Would highly recommend if you only charge overnight and are worried about charging speed.

Terrible customer service, both cables failed within 90 days

Both cables failed within 90 days after which the company made it almost impossible to replace them. I literally gave them the exact bill that Revain customer service sent me and they kept asking me for another bill and Revain customer service kept telling me to "insist on the correct bill". They still wouldn't take it. I've bought about 6 packs of Revain Basics charging cables over the years before, but this experience will never make me buy another one again. I ended up just buying another…

Definitely an upgrade if you still have an Apple charging cable.

A common problem I've had with Apple's factory charging cable is that it's made of plastic instead of flexible wires and is also limited by the length of the cable that comes with it. Once the materials used for the factory wire wear out, it will begin to break or tangle with the internal wires due to the many bends it has made over the years. The Revain Basics charging cable far exceeded my expectations based on the quality, durability and the amount I paid. I paid about $13 for the 6ft…

Does its job decently but unfortunately not pleasant to use and gets very hot

UPDATE: I may have been too quick to write a review after only a few minutes of use. After using it for a few hours, I noticed some glaring problems. Firstly, the iPad almost does not charge during use. I plugged it in at 36% and spent a few hours studying it and it's still at 36%. This at maximum brightness and using Bluetooth and Wi-Fi.
