The sizing is very different from the displayed size chart so I gave it 4 stars but the vest itself is pretty cool. I originally ordered an L for my 13 year old based on the big kids and boys chart and it ended up fitting my 6 year old son well. When it arrived the label actually said 9/10 not 14/16 as it was listed on the chart for the large specimen. So far, so good. I bought the vest for my daughter to keep her hands free while running in the park, kayaking etc. Looks great and is lightweight, time will tell how durable it is. The box is handy to put in my gym bag when we go to the beach. It would be better if the duffel bag was sewn into the shell so you don't have to fiddle with another item when the kid is wearing a jacket. My son loves this vest and too bad he doesn't wear a coat now! Glad it's warm! The only issue we had was that based on the size chart (which was confusing to say the least) we ordered the large size first. He could wear it as a dress. We just went back and ordered the little one which fits him perfectly - a bit of room to grow but just right enough to keep him warm.
