This is a great buy, the only problem is the plug in the wall is one of the old ones that sticks out a bit. Not one of the new round ones that lay level and get the cord out of the way. But hey, some people might wish for it.

What can you say about the surge protector? The cord is solid, I like that each outlet is protected by plugs, and the build quality of the case is very good. I haven't tested the USB output with the meter yet, but it charges my phone fairly quickly. I would buy it again.

I highly recommend this for common household appliances. It's well built, has very handy 2 USB ports for charging devices. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone using it for audio equipment as it has a TON of noise. I was having very intermittent bursts of noise on my Music Hall PA 2.2. 4 stars because of that. If you don't care about signal noise, then this is what you need.

The product itself isn't as heavy as its competitors, but for the price and features, it's a good item at a good price. When dropped, it performs well on the street, which is why it gets 5 stars.
