Optimized Search: AmazonBasics 4ft Digital Audio Coaxial Cable Review

I use about 6 of these cables in my HiFi and they are really reliable cables. Physical build quality is excellent, connections are solid, and sound quality is excellent. The world of cables is full of pseudoscience and promises a drastic improvement in audio/video quality when you spend $80. Just buy them for $5 and you will have the same experience.

I had such a nice improvement in sound clarity after swapping a pair of surround back amp input leads (unshielded). I also replaced the center channel speaker wire. I have the same noticeable jump in clarity. Movie dialogue is clearer and video characters feel a bit more present. This may be due to a small reduction in noise from the cable shield, or simply better conductivity in higher quality connectors. In any case, a nice improvement for inexpensive component replacement.

There are MANY options when it comes to cables. They range from $2.50 to $1,000 for the more esoteric varieties. Basically, there are only a few things that matter: the quality of the insulation, the composition of the cable, and the quality of the connector itself. These cables appear to be very good and always seem to work here at the shop, however one of the 15ft cables broke down intermittently at the customer's which wasted phone support time to track it down. Disassembled one and found a good quality center conductor that appears to be 26 gauge with 19 strands. I bought this cable to connect a bluetooth transmitter to my home receiver. This cable is characterized by excellent processing quality and signal transmission. You don't have to buy a more expensive branded cable compared to this cable. The quality is the same and in my opinion exceeds well-known brands without the high price.
