Missing 12mm but otherwise great price

Honestly I'm not sure who owns the guy who designed this to replace 12mm with 13mm. It's all amazing. Great quality, but rubbish. Any Japanese car owner will flinch if they don't have 12mm.

Pros
  • Best in the niche
Cons
  • Hard to say

Workmanship

I used these keys mainly when working with my cars. The flexible head is a nice feature with limited space in engine compartments. Good weight, feels sturdy and will hopefully last a long time. The included stand is also a good feature for portability and storage. Quality at a good price.

Pros
  • Lots of positive emotions
Cons

Good for DIY

Definitely a good set for the money. I haven't had a chance to really play around with them, but I'll update if I'm unhappy with them. But for now they do what I need. Of course not for a mechanic who is needed all the time, but good for a do-it-yourselfer.

Pros
  • Impressive
Cons
  • Problems

Unreliable on wrenches

Poor wear resistance. The tool itself falls apart further where the flexible head connects. The ratchet mechanism is poor and easy to break. The body holding the tools together is fragile. m, broke at πŸ“¦. .General comment - I would not recommend this product for heavy use for long periods of time. It's unreliable.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • No instructions

Fits in hard-to-reach places

I used them for the notoriously difficult timing on a Ford Triton 5.4 and I could never have done without them. Anyone who has done this knows how difficult it is to remove the bottom bolts of an oil pump and while this tool doesn't make it 100% easy it certainly makes it possible. I understand that the torque required is VERY low. This means that the screws must not be over-tightened before you can use the tool. I have no idea if they will last, but as cheap as they are, I'm fine if they don't
