Fits in hard-to-reach places
I used them for the notoriously difficult timing on a Ford Triton 5.4 and I could never have done without them. Anyone who has done this knows how difficult it is to remove the bottom bolts of an oil pump and while this tool doesn't make it 100% easy it certainly makes it possible. I understand that the torque required is VERY low. This means that the screws must not be over-tightened before you can use the tool. I have no idea if they will last, but as cheap as they are, I'm fine if they don't last a lifetime.
