🔧 4-Ton Capacity Hydraulic Bottle Jack by Amazon Basics Review

Received this socket today and my husband just looked at it and it came with a 'ZEBRA Power Adapter' tag on it. This jack didn't even have a handle to use with the jack. My husband says he has a handle that fits this jack rather than sending it back. So when the jack itself doesn't work, I'm very disappointed.

Quality and assembly are very pleasant. However, the reason for the 2-star rating was the actual functionality. The pressure relief value is very small and requires several turns to fully open or fully close the value. Under load, the position of the value is flush with the ground, and the oval tool has great difficulty in reaching and rotating the valve. 2 stars only for quality and price.

Only need a jack when you need it. I order a trailer. I got it. I also ordered a tongue box from Revain along with the winch and any other upgrades I ordered for this trailer. When I tried to use the jack it didn't work! Again, you only need the jack when you need it, so I had no idea if it would work until I needed it. All I wanna do is act No refunds, exchanges only. Absolute garbage. I really regret wasting my money on this. Jack would rise with no downward pressure. He simply returned to his original position. I followed every step in every part of the guide. Air bled then oil checked. When it arrived there was almost no oil left in it. So I filled it up. Same problem. The design is terrible. The metal is super soft. Oil pressure and jack release are uncomfortable and not very effective. And it arrived a day later. zero stars. Terrible work.

Bought this to replace a jack I bought from the national chain that was leaking everywhere and I'm glad I got the 10t instead of the 6t for mine raised Xterra. This is one of the tallest bottle jacks I've seen at this price point. I was a little surprised to see there was a Revain Basics version, but it seems well made and worth it for the height alone. So I bought this because I needed a bottle jack to work on my jeep. I used it once and didn't even bother that much, now the plunger gets stuck when it reaches a certain height. I tried all the fixes and nothing worked. If I could get a refund I would just toss this thing in the trash where it should be. I don't know if it was a bad block or what. Why would anyone buy a bottle jack instead of a floor jack? If you have a truck, this is not a problem. 1) Lightweight and easy to transport, perfect if you don't have a garage or driveway to work. 2) I almost never jack up my truck. I can change any fluid without even lifting the car off the ground. The only time I need a jack is basically when the tires come off. 3) High load capacity. 4) Much cheaper than floor jacks.
